A lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court representing Southern District of Florida on behalf of investors who bought common stock in the company Digital Domain Media Group Inc. during the period between November 18, 2011 and September 6, 2012.

The lawsuit alleges possible violations of US securities laws stemming from ZAGG stock dealings of the company's former CEO. The ZAGG shareholder lawsuit alleges that the former CEO, Robert G. Pedersenhad made a margin call using his ZAGG stock as collateral while borrowing substantial amounts. He was then forced to dump a significant amount of ZAGG stock to meet his margin call. Pedersen had a total of nearly 2 million shares tied up in this margin call, which were eventually sold to meet his obligations.  None of this was disclosed to investors, and as such, is a breach of US securities laws and may have significantly effected shareholders. 

The United States District Court for the Northern District of California received a lawsuit against Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:UBNT) from an investor in shares of this company’s stock. The investor is alleging that this company issued untrue declarations that misrepresented the true nature of its stock. 

A shareholder class action lawsuit has been filed against Assisted Living Concepts, Inc. (NYSE:ALC). It was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and covers shareholders in the company, Assisted Living Concepts. This lawsuit was started by a shareholder who alleges that Assisted Living Concepts violated several Federal securities laws. According to the shareholder, the company made false and misleading statements to its shareholders.
